Lineage: William Williams born about 1700 probably Goochland Co VA. Died before 11 Nov 1783 Goochland Co. I have copy of his Will. Surviving wife Mary Unknown. Several of their children lived in Bute/Warren Co NC.
Drury Williams was born about 1745-48 Goochland Co VA. Died March 1806 Wilkes Co GA. Surviving wife Tabitha Marshall (daughter of William Marshall and Pheobe Farmer, married 1770 Goochland Co VA). She remarried to James Gresham.
William Marshall Williams (Sr) born 8 Nov 1771 Goochland Co VA. Died about 1800 Wilkes Co GA. Married Eleanor Porter, daughter of Andrew Porter and Margaret Ewing, 1789, Prince Edward Co VA. Eleanor died in childbirth or soon thereafter.
William Marshall Williams Jr. born before 2 Dec 1791, probably in Wythe Co VA. Died Feb 1859, location unknown (maybe Daviess Co MO). Married 1816 in Prince Edward Co VA to Hope Walker Glenn, daughter of Gideon Glenn and Sarah Lancaster. Hope died Nov 1850 in Daviess Co MO.
Sarah Francis Williams born 1828 in Prince Edward Co Va. Died 1918 in Brunswick, Chariton Co MO. Married June 1849 in Carroll Co MO to Samuel Elliott, son of Thomas Elliott and Elizabeth Turner.

Lineage: I am trying to find out more information (siblings, heritage, parents, etc) of a James Williams who was born in 1815. I'm not sure where he was born but he was a farmer in the coal mining area of SE Kentucky by 1850. He was married to Jane (Jenny) Baker and they had a son named Jackson (Jack) Bishop Williams. Jenny's family had come from NC- or maybe she just came from there with James, I am not sure.
Jenny's parents were Mary "Polly" Campbell and John Jackson Baker.
James and Jenny's son, Jack, was married twice. His first wife was (Mary) Polly Jane Joseph, and his second wife was Cassa (Cassie) Wells. They stayed around Perry County, Ky, and had many children, including Mallie, Mathias, Andy, and Maggie. These children were born between the late 1880's and early 1900's.

Lineage: After 33 years of searching my great grandfather, DANIEL WILLIAMS, is still behind a brick wall somewhere??? He never wavered from saying he, and his father were born in Virginia. He married in Shelby County, MO. in 1858.too Mary elizabethe Snawder.
There is a MOSES WILLIAMS in Smyth County,VA. in the 1850 census, who has a 17 year son named Daniel.
Also Moses had a son named Charles, and a daughter named Margaret. In 1870 census in Smyth Co. VA. Moses is head of household, with Margaret and her husband, Samuel Robinson living with her father,MOSES WILLIAMS. Can anyone help me with this family?? I am pretty well convinced this my ancestor.
My Daniel, born ca 1833, named a son, Moses, and another son, Charles.
Daniel supposedly died somewhere in western Kansas and I have not been able to find any record of him there.
