Obituary:  Gaffney - Mrs. Dorothy Williams Childress, 67, died Saturday at 3 a.m. at her home on Ninth Street after several years declining health and three months serious illness.
Surviving are; her husband Robert J.; three daughters, Mrs. Crawford Messer, Mrs. Charlie Painter and Mrs. Tom Maynor of Gaffney; three sons, William, Robert Lee and Paul of Gaffney, two sisters, Miss Macie Williams and Mrs. Clara Driskill of Gaffney; two brothers, Plato Williams of Shelby, N.C. and Westley of Boone, N.C. ; 21 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Temple Baptist Church . The Revs. Joe Belcher and Paul Dobbins will officiate. Burial will be in the Draytonville Baptist Church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Charles and J.D. Driskill, Donald, Yates and Jack Williams, and Amos Childers. Shuford - Hatcher Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Obituary:  Chesnee- Durward E. Williams, 61, of 5195 Chesnee Highway , died Aug. 13, 1991, in Spartanburg Regional Medical Center . A native of Chesnee , he was the son of the late Charles C. and Eva Cash Williams.

Servivors include two daughters, Dale Johnson and Diane Williams of Hickory, N.C., and Roger Williams, U.S. Air Force stationed in Alaska; three sisters, Melissa Giles of Converse, Joyce Huskey of Spartanburg and Imogene Davis of Chesnee; two brothers, Arthur and Adrain Williams of Chesnee; three grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at Forest Lawn Mortuary in Chesnee. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Forest Lawn Mortuary Chapel in Chesnee by the Rev. Dale Barrington. Burial will be in Piedmont Baptist Church Cemetery . The family is at the home of a sister, Imogene Davis,

Obituary:  Gaffney- Earnest Dean Williams, 62, of 508 W. Frederick St. died May 30, 1997, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center . A native of Cherokee County , he was the husband of Lucille Parker Williams and son of the late William ( Bill ) Henry and Bessie Grutrude Lavender Williams. A member of West End Baptist Church , he was retired from Peeler Dairy.

Survivors in addition to his wife include two brothers, Billy Lee Williams of Shelby, N.C., and Alfred O. Williams of Earl, N.C. The Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Shuford- Hatcher Funeral Home.
Graveside Services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at Frederick Memorial Gardens . The family is at the residence.

Cromer, Dewey Jolley, Rhett Price, Billy Cash, Dupree Blackwell. Body at the home 2 today; at mortuary 2 Saturday.
