Obituary: Union-Audis Otto Williams, 74, husband of Mrs. Ruby Cash Williams of 217 Hillcrest Drive, died 9:45 a.m. Sunday at his home. Native of Cowpens; son of the late James Lee and Julia Lamb Williams; member of Union First Baptist Church, Kennedy Sunday School Class and a deacon; former member of the S.C. House of Representatives and served on the first City Planning Commission of Union; retired employe Belk's Department Store after 15 years.
Also surviving: daughters, Mrs. Felder Meador, Mary Ellen Williams and Jeanne Williams of Union; sisters, Mrs. Illa Mae Dolye of Spartanburg , Mrs. Arabelle Clary of Melbourne , Fla. ; brother, J.H. Williams of Spartanburg ; three grandsons.
Services 11 Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Union; burial in Union Memorial Gardens . Family will receive friends 7- 9 tonight at S.R Holcombe Funeral Home.

Obituary: Gaffney- Bessie Lavender Williams, 85, of 300 1\2 Overbrook Drive , Gaffney, died July 5, 1991, at her home. A native of Cherokee County , she was the widow of William H. Williams and daughter of the late Cleveland and Lavan Westbrooks Lavender. She was a member of West End Baptist Church and a retired textile employee.
Survivors include one daughter, Betty W. Ruppe of Gaffney; three sons, Ernest Dean Williams of Gaffney, Billy Williams of Shelby, N.C. and Alfred Williams of Earl, N.C.; four sisters, Mae Blackwood of Gaffney, Alma Parris of Spartanburg, Etta Silver of Greenville and Daisy Goings of Tavares, Fla.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and six step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 tonight at Shuford- Hatcher Funeral Home. Services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at West End Baptist Church by the Revs. Gene Daggerhart and Hoyle Alexander. Burial will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens . The family is at the home of Betty W. Ruppe, 1510 Rutledge Ave. Gaffney.
Shuford-Hatcher Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
