Williams Lineages Underway

  This section is for people to post the various Williams lineages they are working on. This is an effort to publicize that brick wall you may or may not be hitting in hopes of finding others who either have information or are at the same wall. This section is now in a database and to make surfing the entries easier, I have set it up to display 15 lineages at a time. Simply use the next and previous buttons to navigate around!

Any information about the parents of John (Jones) H Williams, born in SC in 1863, died in 1903 in Northern OH (Allen Cty, Lima, or Cleveland area)John married Lydia (Sedia) J Rower, according to 1900 US Census- they were married in 1885. John Williams father came from Wales and Mother from Ireland.

John H Williams is my brick wall- he died in 1903 after eating raw oysters at his own restaurant in the Lima (OHIO) area called "the Manhattan Hotel".

Claudius worked for the railroad in his younger years.
They lived in Newark, New Jersey.

Searching for parents/siblings of Joshua Williams born 1792 N.C. ( this date and place are from a family bible) he died West Liberty Morgan Co Ky April 1828. Married to Hannah Dryer/Dire on 1-4-1827.
Hannah is d/o of William Dyer born 1780 and Hannah Hopkins for 1778.

My father: son of Louise Vera (Lossie) Graves and Turner Williams. Father of Turner Williams is Ben Williams married to Emma Keller. They had the following children: Myrtle, John D., Willie, Lovie, Lillian, Jackson,Oran, Sidney, Leroy, Sibil and Elbert, and Oliver. The family alived and died in Texas. Mostly around Waco, Gatesville. My father died in 1990. so my source for information is limited.
Ben Williams may have been born in Alabama, and Emma, his wife was born in Texas. Dates are scant, beginnin about 1850's to present.
I would love to meet family. I know someone is out there who may have information. I hope I meet you soon.

Looking for the parents of Richard Williams who married Elizabeth Hait (Hate) on 7 September 1811. They had children Thomas Stockett Williams born 19 August 1812 in Maryland; Sarah Ann Williams born 25 October 1814; and Richard D. Williams born 28 December 1817. Richard died 25 May 1835 and Elizabeth died in 1835.
