Notes:

Sherrod was born ca. 1776 in Northumberland, VA. There has long been suspicion that Phillip and Sherrod were related, which the testing has now proven they were related. However to date, it is unknown if Phillip is father, brother or uncle to Sherrod. Phillip had brothers named Hardin (b. 1763), James II (b. 1764) and Mark. Their father was James Williams Sr. (b. 1725). It is most likely that all were born in Virginia.
